beware doing so, activ's have side airbags, and its illegal removing factory SRS's from vehicles. if u replace it with an evo seat, you may need an engineer certificate to get roadworthy, the ECU/ATRACS could have issues as well....

good luck with it though :)

EVO X recaros (In Australia at least) have side airbags too. May have to take it to Mitsu to have the ECU reset though.

Good luck finding some for a reasonable price though :(

about 12 months ago I wanted to put Evo X seats in my MY07 VRX. I asked Mitsu dealership and was quoted about $2500 PER SEAT!!!! Needless to say I did't go ahead with it.

I was told $5 k for a set, even then you will need a Evo vin number to order them with although that isnt hard to get.

5 grand seems pretty steep being honest, I looked into the VXR seats for my last car a astra and they were $3 k the set for partial leather recaros with side bags

that is super cheap - it is usually about that for just the base of the seat - the final cost for the whole lot (seat & back etc) was $6800 per seat!!

if you can get the recaros for $2500 per seat, let me know for that is the cheapest i have ever seen!!

Why dont you guys just go for the recaro sportster CS?? It comes with or without side airbags. So im pretty sure it "should" be fine if it has airbags aswell.

Its what i was looking into getting and would work out being a hell of alot cheaper than the evo x oem seats.
