Aluminium EVO X shift knob on a VRX?

Does anyone know if the thread on the VRX gear stick is the same as the EVO X?
Am thinking of getting the Aluminium shift knob to replace the stock one.

If your's is manual and you get a manual transmission one it will work 100%

That's good to hear. I thought they would be exchangeable.
$300 is pretty steep for a gear knob.
What other aftermarket brands would fit the stick?
The ford focus gear knob Deano was selling in another thread looked pretty sweet. Do they fit?

$300 is for the genuine adjustable-weight one with Evolution laser-etched on it.
Have to pay to play.
Most aftermarket gear knobs will fit, they include adapters to suit all different sizes of shafts.

I got mine from aldi, good weight and matches my interior...

Nice shifter. Aldi has some good stuff at times.
I bought a medion computer from them 6 years ago. Best PC I had ever used till I converted to a Mac.
