Postby draevon » Tue Nov 17, 2009 9:23 pm

Does anyone know anywhere I can buy this in Brisbane? I'm having trouble tracking it down, and I have some Carbon Fibre Fabric here just begging to be used :)

Yeah I went around to 4 Officeworks this afternoon and no-one is carrying it. Contacted their online store and it's on backorder ... and they're not sure when they'll get it in . Jerks.

Think I'll head to a Bunnings or something tomorrow after work and have a look.

He's finished the project and it looks fantastic...

Draevon, what adhesive did you end up using/where did you buy it?

I just used Fuller Spray Adhesive from Bunnings. Not perfect but it did the job.

id say use fuller as well, its pretty good for how cheap it is and it stay pretty sticky for a wile so if you make a mistake using it you can fix it.

If you have time tryg, drop into any OfficeWorks you go past. I went to three around my area, and they all had space for 3M Super77 on the shelves but no stock. Worth a try if you're heading past one.

I used Selleys Kwik Grip Spray contact adhesive. Got it from Supercheap Auto for about $14 per can. I think it is more permanent than the Super 77 as it is not for lightweight work but for a permanent bond which is what I am after :D.
