Yes it is compatible.

But if you are after the audio buttons, it is a 5 minute install job. I even wrote up a DIY guide! You can get the buttons through our club sponsors for about $100. PM "ofey" and ask him.

Here is the DIY I made: http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=1799

Also, welcome to the site! Post up an into in the intro section and pictures in member's rides!

The flappy paddles are separate from the wheel. and I think it should be able to be put in. Not cheap however. you can buy all the bits off JapanParts.com

I don't see the point. No matter what mods anyone puts into an ES or VR to bring it up to a level of a VRX, it's still the same car. Same Chassis, same model code.

I think if I had bought an ES, I would try to bring it up to a level of a VRX but with aftermarket parts, not Mitsubishi parts. It just defeats the purpose, should have bought a VRX instead since it'll be better value for money.

Geez, such a pessimist Ofey... I have only spent $1600 since it was a horrible little ES.. and yay, all of it was non-Mitsu (apart from the stuff you sent me)...

I promise my turbo will be aftermarket too..

This is only my day-to-day car, so i care not if it is not a VRX or Ralliart etc...

I have a Motorcycle worth more than a Ralliart (this is where I like to spend my money)...

But I get your point.

flappy pedals would be fun :D if I had spare $$ and no other mods I wanted I'd go for 'em

Does the ES and VR at least have the + and - available via the transmission stick?
