ClubCJ - The CJ Lancer Club

Ordered the CF HVAC trim off TMR (Team Mitsubishi Ralliart) for around $90 delivered (to Sydney) inside a very well packaged/secure Express Post satchel. Easy DIY (clean n wipe with included cloth, remove the backing tape which is extremely thin, push the trim on top, and done!).

EDIT: Forgot to mention it's a perfect fit (obviously since it's an official Mitsu part lols).

BTW what is the dash strip? Is that stock? As the ES has silver, the VRX and RA have the "geometric check print" so what is the evo's?

LOL it's what's in my dash normally, but on the other hand, I figured it was a good subtle advertisement as I've posted these pics on various forums (JDMST, EvoOz).

ps. It's a Nokia e51; the brother of the e71 (they have nearly identical designs and interface except the e51 only has standard keypad and ordinary 2mp camera). The casings and silver-shiny print colour scheme are identical which makes them look good together.

I believe the dash strip is glossy black (can't think of any other words to describe it). It's the standard trim on an Evo (no option to choose). Ryan (infinite) always seems to be checking it out lols... I think the RA's CF-look is nicer but I suppose the black is nicely understated/subtle.

I thought I'd make an update to this thread since I know a few people are looking at this and using it as a review of buying the CF HVAC trim from Dan at TMR Australia.

Lately I've had a lot of trouble with the HVAC trim. For what is essentially a piece of plastic/cardboard with a carbon fibre design on it, you would expect it to be able to stick on quite well to the panel. However, despite it's price tag, mine doesn't seem to be sticking very well anymore particularly when it's hot/warm or under hard acceleration (or both). This is probably not an issue of TMR or with the product design itself but just something to be weary of when using thin pieces of double sided tape to affix it (the tape needs to be trimmed very thin if you are DIY; note that when you buy it from Dan it has the tape already trimmed and stuck onto one side so it's a simple affair for the end user).

Starting to fall off more and more regularly- hopefully I can find a solution to make it stick.

i have one simillar mate all i am using is blu tak and it is sitting very well no issues or anything mate here is the pic of the one i have

But i reckon to aid with the issue your having use blu tek and the tape that is on the CF part to sit on a bit moree
