OEM gear knob and hand brake change.

Postby adamhumphrey » Sat Apr 29, 2017 5:00 pm

Thought I would share this just in case someone is interested. I ordered and fitted the OEM alloy gear knob and handbrake cover from https://www.mitsubishipartswarehouse.com/ to my wife's VRX.

Part Numbers are:-
Gear knob :- MZ360280EX
Handbrake cover:- MZ360282EX
(I didn't realise they had LHD and RHD versions for the handbake cover MZ360282EX is LHD the word "Lancer" is written the other way. Not a huge deal for the price. Just over $US240 for both plus shipping.

Gear knob was two seconds to install. The handbrake cover was quick heat up of old cover with hair dryer to make glue pliable then remove. To install new one was to grub screws underneath. I think the car needs short shifter now.
