Hi guys, I am looking for a OEM button, something similar to the Parking sensor button or the traction control button, but just a blank one with no graphics and no lights on it.

Do you know where I can source one?

Doubt you'd be able to get one - you'll have to paint over one if you want it blank.

You can't just rub off whatever is on there - its not printed on it is a translucent piece so that it can illuminate.

I don't think you will be able to get a blank one easily. All the OEM buttons have labels on them and even if you did remove the paint it would still probably show the original label when lit up

Paint over or not, I will need the button on hand to start things off =]
Do you know where I can get them?
Besides the dealer?

Also any part number would help =]
Cheapest one possible out of all the buttons available

I got this part number #8610A019 but I am not sure if this is what I need.

I am planning to wire some additional horn to the car and wish to have the button sitting next to the parking sensor and and AWC button.

Any suggestions or guidance would be much appreciated =]

Edit: Didn't see you were wiring a horn, that'd work.
Just pull one out of a wrecked lancer or maybe you can find one on ebay. Or contact a place that wrecks lancers and request they pull the part out for you.
Theres a lot of wrecker parts on there lately (in Australia).

Just go to a wrecker and you're bound to find one. Doesn't need to be out of a CJ lancer, you'll find one on most Mitsubishis from the last decade.

Thanks for all the replies =]
There are 2 CJs on ebay parting out so I might try my luck

Horn looks like I wont fit in the engine bay so might need to tuck it under the driver side front quarter panel
