Just the front so far, no headrests!!!

They are not hard to install, just time consuming and tedious. Give yourself a full weekend to complete the job.

That way you can choose what colour scheme you want etc. They are designed to actually fit the seats though not like a 1 size fits all seatcover from supercheap.

To be fair Autobarn, Repco, Big W and many other automotive outlets sell the standard 30/45, 60/25, 06 and 08 generic covers... Its the old "you get what you pay for" cheap price... cheap fit :)

And for the price on the X-Factor leathers its compareable to a set of premium tailor made sheepskins.

Oh definitely Krispy. There is no way in hell a company could manufacture a tailored seatcover set for $100. I was in no way rubbishing the product.

I think the thing to remember that Shadow's leather is designed to replace the OEM upholstery, and the leather is the best I have seen short of show cars etc. It leaves the standard leather from beemers and mercs for dead!!

Agree 100% Lzy :) what people have here is a great opportunity that caters for both ends of the spectrum... if you only wanna spend a few bucks then the OEM ones are fine... if you have the extra then the leathers are the way to go (and in most cases will outlive your own ass lol).

That's it.... and anyone considering leather, do not get it done over here. The X-factor leather is such a good fit and the price is easily 1/4 of getting it manufactured here.

When X-Factor says they're leather is a cover, they mean a replacement for the stock cover, as lzy_eye says.

Go have a look at the rear of your stock seats, you'll see a zipper on each side. That shows that the upholstery is really a cover. There is more to it than the 2 zippers, but you get the point.

And I can vouch for what lzy_eye says about the leather. Top quality, leaves most OEM makers leather for dead!

I hope that wasn't intentional pun saying it leaves others for dead haha!!!!!

It is quite a job to get the leather done, really needs 2 people, but the result is very rewarding :)

Group buy doesn't work with them as once you go over $1000 you have to start paying import duties etc, it is logistically too hard.

No worries :) The problem with a group buy from OS is that someone has to be responsible for the shipment. So then, that person has to ship from there to each person in Australia.

Also, the size of 5 Leather kits would almost mean a pallet which would be expensive via air so would need to go sea freight which means a 3-4 week shipping time.

The small amount of money you would save doing a group buy, would almost be absorbed in extra domestic shipping and import duties.

It can work with certain things if you bring a big enough quantity in at a time/

Sorry my initial answer seemed a little too consise, and that one probably a little too long!!!
