And looking at that price its not with a airbag... I dare say that price could double

I personally dont like the evo seats i found the ra ones nice
usa ra's come with optional recaro seat package with sat nav for like $5k usd which is pretty sweet
when i was getting mine i asked for that option and they said only us market - you may find in few years they will come to australia through orders online but i wouldnt put too much interest into it

If you really wanted seats that hug alittle more couldnt a upholster re shape your current seats and increase the size of the bolsters? Then a retrim?

i just don't want the hasstle of having to have it go through the pits to get signed off. just for not having airbags in the seats, why did they have to put them in(i know i know safety)

I have had previous experience where I needed my side airbags and I can assure you, they most definitely are worth their weight in gold. Without the side bags deploying I would imagine I could have broke a few ribs.

I couldnt image having airbags signed off being an easy thing either

They're also in the NZ RA's as standard with the unique wheels (Not the VRX ones)

Australia got ripped off when it came to price, specs and goodies that other markets have as standard!

As an evo driver - the seats are great but not for long hauls... sure your secure but the level of comfort drops alot.

Don't get me wrong - i would not swap them but there are far more comfortable 'sports' seats available
I have a 3 year old son who KNOWS i should drive faster! So why do i get fined?!?

its just the ease of getting it "legal" that is my main concern
