Well I had a rattle in the air vents around stock stereo unit when I got the car, seemed to have settled & rarely hear it anymore.
Thought I hate a whistling noise, I suspect is coming from the side mirrors especially when your on the freeway.
Oh yeah, like the very subtle sound coming from the BOV when put the foot down, strongly considering a boost gauge down the track.

I think it was comming from the air vents, hard to pin point it.
Boost gauge is a must. I'm thinking about getting a touch screen put in with something like the HKS CAMP2.

Boost gauge - Check
If you put in a K&N you'll hear the turbo spool louder and the BOV let go harder when you take your foot off the gas. being the twin clutch you wont get much BOV action when changing gears because of the short time it takes to change.

Most of the times I try to rectify it by either turning on some music or just giving the dashboard a whack. I also find that it's not always there, and therefore only happens when the dash has been exposed to certain conditions etc.
I sent the car into mitsubishi to get it fixed under warrant, but after about a weeks driving it came back and then some new ones appeared as well. The dealer did there best though as they kept the car for a whole week to fix and test.
Think at the end of the day, there's not much a dealer can do about it. If anything, I found that with the dealer taking apart the dash and putting it back together again, it can lead to introdcing more sqeaks and rattles.
I had my instrument cluster bezel replaced under warranty also. One side was loose and would rattle. It fixed it, but yeah new ones pop up, especially when it's cold outside. With all the plastic parts there are bound to be some creaks and rattles I guess. I wish they had used some foam tape or something where parts join together to minimize the noises.
i seem to be getting rattles from the back of my car now with my new exhaust installed.
when the car is moving , theres no rattle. Just when stuck in a jam or traffic light, when i'm engage in D gear, the exhaust just vibrate by itself causing a rattle sound.
Anyone know how to fix this ? thanks
