hey Emmanuel,

if you not going to be dumb and put shit in your boot and over load it around the sub box, the best place is screwed into the back of the fold down seats, preferably on the side u putting the box on, but if u mounting box in the middle, then either side of seat will be fine,

personally, id never mound under either front seats, if ppl put there feet to far under they can step on cords and rip them out,,

ive ran all my amps in the boot near the sub or on back of seat and never ever had a problem with it. and for the whole amp getting to hot in the boot is stupid, unless u got a shit amp that is just shit and over heats.

hope this helps mate.

That's why you mount the amp sideways so cabling is at the sides not the ends where it can be stepped on. Also moves the tuning controls to the sides where drunk friends can't "turn up your bass"

Thanks ricky, but I ended up with it mounted sideways under passenger seat, thats what most ppl and the boys at gccs told me too. And I think it's better there cause i keep a lot of shit in my boot..

i take it moving the seat wont effect the amp assuming you dont let your cables get caught in the rails.

Agree with everything Fitter has said. Mine are under there and have never had an issue.

Skye if you mount your amp and wiring correctly then you will have no issues. If you're not 100% sure, test fit the amp before you run your wires and secure the amp. Simple as putting the amp under the seat and checking clearance :D
Love that car!

amp wiring should be totally under the carpet save for where it comes out to then go into the amp - 75mm MAX of exposed cabling and no where near ANY moving parts.
