I've used yellow Plasti-Dip on my CJ for almost 2 years with no noticeable loss in color.

If only I could afford it
Reality is taking the door cards off (yes card is the correct term) is no big deal. Did it a number of times on the CC coupe, even swapped them from a M21 went I did a power window upgrade so I'm no stranger to this. I'm just careful doing it on a newer car until I know exactly how to do it, but seen a few YT clips and its pretty easy but the look!
