Center Console Buttons

Hi everyone,

I want to put some some switches/buttons on the center console where my coin box currently is atm.

And I've got some questions.

1. What is the part called that houses the buttons (in place of the coin box)?
2. What is this blank space used for?

#2 is for heated seats on some models.

Here is the panel switch part number to replace the coin holder.
You can put some USB Power or spot light switches in them.

@bumblebee I try not to use Ali express (I don't have an account yet). But yes, there does seem like Ali has 100x more mitsu switches than ebay. I'm not certain I need I all the different types though.

That switch panel is not overly expensive but I think it was like $20 at the dealer, which is costly for a little bit of plastic.

The switches you buy really depends on what you want to put down there.

I pulled out the centre console coin holder, and there's some wires taped underneath. Are these for optional usb power? Is it possible to just plug and play the switches/usb connections? 2017 lancer es

They are for options your ES might not have, the wiring harness in the CJ is the same as the RA and EVO,

My 09 VRX has some wires there also.

These wires may be for higher models i.e the Evo.
Here is what is hooked up there in my 2010 Evo X MR - Afs lighting control and Awc Control. Centre is an aftermarket Tyre Pressure Monitor so ignore that.

NA lancers don't have heated seats
They have ejection seats

Thanks all for the photos and prices. It's helpful for all of us with lower specced models.

I think I might put a voltmeter switch next to my "Ejection Seat" switch

Should have postered this earlier but...
this is mine, the right on is the turn the power off to the front camera, the middle is a couple of USB ports with volt meter (AliExpress) The left is a garage opener, shy don't tell anyone.
