Interior door trim HELP

Postby Carl-BVI » Tue Aug 28, 2012 10:35 am

On my phoe do bare with me :)

Just wants to wrap my trim on the doors, done the dash piece and the steering wheel side piece. Just wondering how to take off the door trim? Seen a thread of this but didnt really get the answer. A video was attatched taking the whole panel off. Does this need to be done to remove this trim or can it just be pryed off? Just wondering so I don't break them :)
Any info will help
Thanks.

Yea this was my first mod i did on my car and it looks amazing!

just gotta take the entire panel off the door, pretty easy to do.

theres 2 scres, one behind the door opener and one behind the door handle (both behind a cover). then from the bottem slowly pull it off. it takes a lil bit of strength but if u go it slowly and gently youll be fine.

after that disconnect ur power windows and any other plugs off.

then ull see that there is 2 screws holding ur door opener onto the inside door panel. undo both of them and then slowly remove it from the panel.

from there take the entire panel inside on n put it n the carpet so it dont get scratched up and proceed to take the entire door frame apart by undoing all the screws. from there you should be able to take the silver chrome peice out and be able to cover it.

thats pretty much it in a nut shell. if you want i can take a few pics of it later on to help with my explanation.

Thanks heaps mate! helped alot! Managed to get it off this afternoon :) and wrapped it in White Carbon fiber. looks OKAY but see how it goes haha
Thanks again mate ;)
