Gauge Cluster HOOD REMOVAL - HELP

Postby Carl-BVI » Mon Jun 25, 2012 11:15 am

I NEED HELP

I'm trying for a project to remove the hood ON TOP of the gauge cluster so i can vinyl wrap it white. Anyone done or seen this done before? ive had a quick look around and found on another forum steps in doing this but for an EVO x and wasn't sure if it applied for my ES (as you pretty much have to take most trimming off and radio to get to it)

Please, any information is helpful.

Link for EVO X removal below.

I can't see why it would be any different, the interior trim mouldings for most things should be the same.

You can pull the front trim around the front forward to then pull up the cover.
