WTB: ARS HL Lip/HOS Single Exhaust Rear Diffuser

Postby mechenggdude » Sat Apr 30, 2011 3:23 pm

Hey guys, as indicated, am looking for either the ARS HL rear lip or the HOS Single Exhaust Rear Diffuser.

ARS will no longer send their parts overseas. So I cannot get it through them. Any suggestions?

I think Ofey has contact details for HOS kits
He organised a lip kit for Blakey.
I have the same kit but I sourced mine myself and can't find his contact details.

When I had my Lancer I was in discussion to get a rear lip.

ARS shipped a 2 piece lip to international countries as their local postal service would not accept the size of a 1 piece spoiler.

One thing to note with the 2 piece is you need someone proficient enough to join the 2 pieces using fibreglass. This may take quite a lot of work so may explode the cost out.

If you want a 1 piece perhaps talk to ARS and see if they can charge a premium and use a courier service such as Fedex etc.

Hi everyone,

It has been brought to my attention that there has been a misunderstanding with regards to whether we still ship overseas, so I'll try to address this matter as best I can.

We can no longer ship large parts via airmail due to the fact that the postal service is refusing to allow us to do so, not even when they are fabricated in halves.

For large parts like bumpers, lips and skirts, ocean freight will be the most effective way to send them. Therefore, my advice would be to organize group buys in your area so you can share shipping costs. With ocean freight, we can send parts as large as bonnets, and lips will not need to be fabricated in 2-piece constructions. At the same time, depending on your order, we may be able to offer additional discounts.

We can still ship small parts by conventional airmail.

Hope this clears things up and thank you all for your continued support :)

But if people are willing to go seamail then I am up for it too.

One problem would be that you're all in different states. Onwards courier in Aus will also cost a fair wack and once we cross the A$1000 GST threshold, we'll again be paying.
