Pickles Auction
OMG... all the damage is listed as is "Nearside Right - Light Panel" *sigh*
gotta stop looking at these auctions... driving me insane seeing what's on offer...
anyway, might be nice for someone up in QLD if you know anyone looking for a new/used car...27000 on the clock ain't too bad...
*sigh* gotta run and get back to the real world

That would be quite a bargain to the right person at the right price

Maybe it has major mechanical issues?

How much is it going for?

It's an auction... no details on price.
Mechanically, it's hard to say without seeing it in person, but average driver 30,000km in two years... unlikely to be mechanically unsound.
Can't even see the damage of the light panel... which would be ridiculously cheap in comparison to replace... don't even know why the car was written off... *sigh*

As they say, If it's too good to be true, then it probably is.
To have something so minor as "repairable writeoff" just rings alarm bells. I can't make out the panel damage, I'm looking at the driver door and fender, but not sure if the white is just reflection of a white vehicle or what.

Could have been a stolen car, or even a repo job.

Keyless operation system, stolen car? I'd expect a fair bit more damage to the vehicle of getting in to it and then getting it going. Could be a repo... but I'd expect the finance company to be seeling this, not an insurance company. Would be interesting to find out more about this car, I'm intruigued. It's an interesting mystery....

well, finance companies may well have deferred the car to an auction broker to recover their finances. though it still doesn't explain much.

Car could have went for a swim too...
If it is that good it will end up selling for big money anyways...

First off, the damage must be so significant, this guy didn't trade in or sell openly on a 2nd hand market but instead had to go to pickles. So I'm assuming the drive train is dead somehow. Strange also that there are no interior pictures. Wonder why.
For parts though, I think it's excellent for a couple of people to pursue.
Perhaps someone should go look into price of it and see what you can get.
From view:
Exterior -
1. Front air dams
2. Side Skirts
3. VRX Spoiler
4. Set of 4 VRX Wheels
5. Front sway bar
6. RA Tail Lamps
7. Front plastic protector (did anyone else spot it?)
8. Front fog lamp kit (with OEM control stalk)
Interior -
1. Paddle Shifter column
2. Leather steering wheel (including Audio Control Panel)
3. 4 X VRX Door Trims
4. Center Console
5. 2 X Front VRX Seats (rear seats should be the same or negligible difference)
And on top of that, there is a massive amount of panels and clips you can salvage that people can buy off you.
