WTB: SST fluid (Diaqueen)

Postby Bernz » Tue Oct 14, 2014 9:33 pm

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any spare tins of SST fluids the OEM diaqueen ones?
Preferably I want to get two tins to change the oil.

Would not mind paying for postage to get it shipped to Sydney.

Otherwise, is anyone interested in some if I were to import 4 tins from the states? The most cost efficient way is to buy 4 tins from the US (save on shipping) and I will take two tins, and it will work out to be around $190 a tin if the aussie dollar stays the same.

Thanks

Bernz

Try messaging Alan aka Megaton, he will be able to help you out,
If not, I am more than happy to import some with you and all that good stuff, as I need to do mine sooner or later.

Cool mate will do.
Shipping is a killer but still works out better off than RRP.
Rather have something local to not wait weeks!!

Damn it, If you were in WA I was going to say we could go halves on shipping..

Mitsupartsworld I've found to be the cheapest and ordering 2x or 4x is only $10 in shipping difference, so really helps to try find someone else to get 2 cans with.

Not sure if you can get it from US. Diaqueen is classified as a dangerous good and they will not ship overseas

Hmmm... I might be interested in this; I'd like to do mine at 45k - would Mitsubishi still want to do the service if we supplied our own materials? (not something I would do myself)

What about the filter? - are they cheaper OS?

Bernie - have you heard from Alan?

You are right mate, 4 tins works out to around $190 a tin.
Need to gather someone locally i guess, as having to ship interstate just add to the cost, and for the hassle I guess most will just go with buying it locally.

I tried most other suppliers which dont ship to Aus. However I found one which happens to ship to Aus. I think they do it via UPS/Fedex or the like hence the added shipping cost

I guess so? If DIY isnt an option, im sure many other workshops will do it and you pay just labour at around $100/hr.
Filters wise, I looked at some from Ebay, appears tobe cheaper from the US, around $80 compare to $100+ from the states.
Alan surely offered me a very good deal!
