Hi,
I got these approx 8mths ago. Low but not too low (looks just right in my opinion - you loose that '4wd' look) I offered them somewhere around $250 from memory (+ postage)
Ride is a touch rougher but pretty happy - just had my car serviced today and had the shocks checked as part of the service & all good (with 100k+ km's on her)

Rolling guards will depend on your wheel size (width) not the springs, and is no big deal. Anywhere up to 8.5 there shouldn't be a problem.

replacing springs can be quite dangerous if you don't know what your doing or have the right equipment, if your not 100% confident in replacing them, get a professionals to do them.
MCM did do a video about it as well.
