Finding 2nd hand ones is very difficult. I get asked at least once a week as I am frequently involbed when Evo guys upgrade and I sell off the leftover for them....
The going rate is around 250-300 but sometimes they go for more as demand is so high

as an alternative, we are looking at potentially getting NEW oem manifolds. that may end up being in the 700-800 range. maybe a little more, maybe a little less.

It's a lot, yes.
but consider this :
for stock turbo and smaller upgrade turbos, i'm yet to find anything that is "better" in terms of power Vs spool.
The aftermarket options (MAP, FullRace etc) may gain a little midrange and top end, but add 300rpm or so to spool. they are great for larger turbos but for an X swap I honestly don't think they are the way to go.

Just throwing it out there as an option :)

I contacted a Mitsubishi place in NZ as they usually get parts way cheaper than us. New manifold was NZ$600

Keep your eye on the US Evo forums and Ebay over there.

Hot tip - i got mine of ebay in the US by searching for 'Evolution' rather than 'EVO' - i think because it wasn't tagged as EVO like everything else it was overlooked.

NZ option sounds tempting also. Can you PM me the place please?
I get most of my Ralliart stuff from NZ also, might be the same place.

I have looked in to new manifolds ex japan and ex USA as well as locally. Honestly didn't consider NZ :)

I'd put the OEM on.. MHI was build for it... just keep eye out for it. You will find one eventually cheap. :)

And are you the one that bought the MHI from AK Racing??

Any comment? You mean you want my opinion on them?

Well, Alan, who you most likely dealt with, I've known him for around 11 years now. He is a really good guy and very trust worthy. So you are in good hands :)

Price from NZ very reasonable. I'm thinking you might do well to contact Alan again about a manifold :)
We may well be doing a bit of a bulk buy since there is demand for them. and at these sorts of prices I'd probably go a new one over a 2nd hand unit.
