Hello Club,
Unfortunately, mine got damaged and I am now in the hunt for a replacement one. Mitsu quoted me a whopping $385! I saw the actual item and it turns out to be just some plastic with a shiny finish.
Hopefully anyone can lead me to a less expensive alternative. Maybe there are shops that make replicas, so please let me know if you know of any.
Also, if you're thinking of painting yours black or something, maybe we can swap as well. Of course, I'll be adding cash.
Cheers
Al

Chrome wheel arch moulding might meet your requirements:

Gee thanks, really helpful.

The original chrome is thicker than the moulding, and I might end up looking like an RA impersonator when I have the real thing.

Yeah, I thought about this as well, but I'm just worried that because the grille itself has a lot of curves, the wrap may not stick really well and eventually go off. I might try consulting a local shop that does it.
Cheers

If it's the chrome trapezoidal bit you're talking about, then yes, that's what I'm after.
We can possibly work on posting it out to Melbourne if the freight isn't too much. It might need a flat box though to prevent damage.
