If there's anyone around here who has changed their iPhones or iPods a few times now, maybe you have spare USB cables that I could possibly have. If you're willing to give them away or accept loose change, that would be great.

Thanks for the help, but I was after genuine ones. I had a not-so-good experience with copied versions.

Go for standard length, 3 ft. Not shorter, and definitely not longer.

I've had good experiences with the imitations, from China as well as local sellers - $1 a piece delivered (the postage stamp was more than half of that). If they're for ipod/iphone they should be alright, ipads are a different story (they're 10 watt devices while charging).
