hey guys ive been on ebay for years now and i bought a fascia kit
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 2976wt_910

they said the item is in melbourne and fits an ES 08 i no there are cheaper ones on ebay but thought since the item is in the same state it would arrive perhaps the next day. the seller said it takes 6 days to arrive which was retarded. anyway after 11 days of waiting it arrived.
the box had a little sticker which said it was from honk kong mail express to melbourne even though aus post delivered it. then open up the box and found a tiny sticker of the chinese site which is the manufacturer. i told them that the item was imported they said it mustve been accidently put there on aus post and ignored me when i mentioned the chinese website.
now i have found the exact same product from the seller for 82$ and they are denying its from them.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mitsubishi-L ... 169wt_1020

anything i can do about it? and if not just thought id let everyone on here not to go through this seller as its just a waist of time and also the chinese website for the manufacturer is

www.yelew.com

mayb we can import some for the club lol

take care
Zak

raise your concerns with Ebay's complaint people.

is the product damaged or not as advertised?

as the clubs car audio vendor, this is one of the reasons why i voice so passionately about buying from a store/vendor so u get that support.

support australian dealers and they will support you.

by going to their ebay store, straight away the diverse range of products screams out Overseas cheap factory. Sewing machines, Checkout Scanners, Car audio.... way to much range on product.

sounds like you need to raise your concerns with Ebays complaints department, make sure you have the item number so you can refer it to them

Drop shipping is nothing unusual and quite common.
Very often the drop shipper will show the "location" where they live. They may source various goods from various countries on a "just in time" principle. Why have stock on hand when as the seller you can issue a "ship to" order from manufacturer to the on-seller.

So what's the beef here, that you found it cheaper for $13 on ebay?
Perhaps be more thorough on your research next time. Chalk it up as a lesson learnt in life.

yer i no i learnt a lesson here but i did contact them and they said there factory is in mildura they make the item and test it for 2 days before they send it out which made me think that they wernt sourcing it anywhere else. 13$ is nothing just really pissed at the way they are saying that it wasnt sourced and also been eagerly waiting to install my sound system as everything is sitting there waiting for this stupid kit

its a common thing for sellers on ebay to do this.. like Pete said, why need to hold stock? But the biggest issue is claiming the item is located in AU when in reality its not.. Buyers shouldn't be deceived by its location and thinking they will receive it sooner than later.
