WTB VRX wheels in excellent condition

See thats where the issues come about. $600inc rubber that sells at $200 per tyre new. So say they are 50% tread the tyres are worth about $75 ea. Everyone knows they are not great tyres so say $50ea. $600-$200=$400
If one is really badly guttered you may be better off selling separately as full sized spares. The damaged one will bring down all the others too.
On top of this you can buy a whole 18" package from Taleb Tyres for $1400 or so and they will be more individual.

@ James. Ouch, I think I'll give them a miss...... I really want them to be in excellent condition. Besides I want them with the rubber on. This is how I see it: If I buy just rims for say $100 each I still need to put tyres on (and I want the yokohams) which retail for $390 each but there's a guy on ebay selling them for $200 each brand new.
So..... Buying just the rims and then adding the tyres will cost minimum $1200. Buying a set of 4 in excellent condition with Yokohamas with 70 - 80% tread will cost $600 - $800 max.
Well at least Cranebrook was nice and close lol!!!
@ Shane, what sort of tyres do Taleb put on?

Thanks for that Shane. That's what I thought with the Taleb ones. Will check out Kumho and Toyo. Yeah, ours are noisy but it doesn't really bother me - stereo is nearly always turned up! Unless the 18s are even noisier. The guy selling the Yokohamas for $200 on ebay has got 100% feedback. They're a real bargain.
I have a lot to think about.......
@James. I'd be interested in one in good condition as a full size spare too. Please let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

I would look at getting the damaged one fixed.
If it is only gutter marks a little bit of filler and touch up paint and it will look like new.
Give it a few months and some of the others will have gutter marks as well.
Tadz posted a great link to a video on a how to repair gutter marks.
Really easy to fix with the tyres off.
If you only drive locally a full size spare is not necessary in my opinion. I would prefer to carry a tyre repair kit like the Evo's have.
