im sure there are plenty of people out there who have bought a used lancer which came with a towbar, and dont need it.
also unsure if hatch towbar is different to sedan towbar

hi guys, its been ages, and this thread has prob been bumped beyond oblivion,, but i got a towbar from mitsubishi ages ago and fitted it myself, so the thread can be closed/deleted if you wish.
incase anyone is wondering i thing the bar cost about $450, mits wanted close to another 300 to fit it.
it is fairly easy to do,, the wiring is the hardest part, and you have to remove bumper, boot interior, rear seats (inc the cushioned side sections)
and you need to use a hole saw to cut a hole to run the wires into the car. you also need to cut a small section out of the middle of the botton of the bumper, the template that comes with the kit could prob be reduced 10-20% and it would still be sufficient to fit the bar. the bar is easy to cut with tinsnips.
