hey guys, i thought i might introduce myelf (also to get posts up so i can pm to order things in)

i have a 2008 CJ lancer ES. it is my dads old driving school car and i managed to score it as my first car. its got 230K on it but runs perfectly fine. it is completely stock (plus the dual pedals...)

i am planning to mod this car step by step. starting with
-interior (carbon fiber the panels, re trim the doors, led, installing the momo gear i bought.)
-sound system
-Engine, a K&N typhoon intake kit and a new exhaust (still dont know what tho)
-body, 3d eyelids, angel eyes, fog lighs, lowered, 18inch rims and probably a evo body kit.

i might add it is the lightning blue

will keep you guys posted with pics on the progress

anyone else in perth near the canningvale area?

Welcome to the club nic, you've got a nice mod list going on there, but have a look around for more ideas. but bewear, once u catch the mod bug, theres no going back.

Might i just add that our cars looks awesome lowered.

I think some of the guys might have questions for you to see what these cars are like after so much milage.

There are a few guys in WA. There is a WA forum as well so check that out and see what locations there are at...

You have a nice set of mods lined up. keep us updated. Be sure to update your garage and also start up a thread in http://clubcj.net/viewforum.php?f=5 so we have a snapshot of your car as it gets it mods.....

wow guys i feel very welcome!
yeah the car has had a long life, but might i say it will only get harder....
i dont mean to sound like a hoon but some times i thrash my poor baby.

as far as i know dads only had one problem as he had to replace the aircon as it is always on....
and the only thing i find that is the gear changing isnt the best. especially between 2-3 and some times it wont go into 1st :/

i was thinking about pimping out those pedals... but $90 for an extra set of MOMO's isnt worth it.. hahha

trust me i have already used that search button and it is my best friend

so many good ideas everywhere on here!

starting the mods tomorrow.. yay

With the km and the type of people who have driven the car I'm surprised the gearbox is still working.

Cars need some "booting" every now and then.
