Hi everyone,

After much deliberation, I just purchased my very first brand new car. Its a 2011 SX. Now I know thats not on par with some of the amazing cars I see here. I however am passionate about cars. Previous rides include a Ford XR6(written off due to very stupid driving by a lady from Queensland) and a Subary B4.

Anyway I love my Lancer, its amazing and makes me happy. I would like some advice on a few matters however and I hope my fellow Lancians help me out!

1- Im not fond of HID's for some reason and I was thinking of improving my headlights by putting in Phillips Crystal Vision bulbs. Any advice on that would be greatly appreciated.

2- Stock 16" wheels are in line for a change. The SX is grey and I was considering black wheels, possibly 18"s. Any advice on the brand of rims and wheels is also appreciated.

Welcome to the club Althaf.

There a few threads around on better lighting for our lancers. Please use the search function at the top right of the page and you should find lots to read.

As for wheels it is a personal choice and budget as well.

Thanx guys, im already enjoying the club:) Iv no doubt i'll learn heaps. hope to meet the Melbourne community soon. However my car is completely standard as I'v had it for 10 days only.. So lots to do!!!:) Nice to meet u all!
