With 29Gs I would look at a second hand Ralliart - in fact, ad another 2K and you could grab a MY10 from a dealer with around 700KM on the clock

Welcome Dale.
Why the VRX and not the Aspire.
The only good thing about the VRX is they come in a manual as well, but you want an auto.
My best advice is do you home work and also used dealer against each other and also different car manufacturers.
Mitsubishi hate nothing worse then you buying a Toyota or Mazda.
Nice avatar photo too! lol

Yeah especially if you say ur tossing up between a mazda 2/3 (non mps) or a lancer and say you think the mazdas look a bit more manly lol
If you can get a nice price from your dealer, go for a proper test drive and see if you can live with it for at least a couple of years. If you're able to squeeze out a bit more, I'd consider getting the Aspire since that's loaded with features at not much of a higher price.
The VRX is OK compared with the lower-spec VR or SX of you do want what's included on the interior and exterior. If you're replacing the VRX wheels or only want the VRX look, you might as well get a cheaper car and mod it up.

Another reason i cant pick a auto atm is cause i am on my Green P's which means no turbo I get off them in April. I am going to see if i can take one for a test drive. See how it feels, see if i am really after that type of car, might have to ask google about the Aspire, i havent heard much about them
Welcome Dale
After lots of tips from this forum I bought an aspire this month over the vrx.. Leather seats, built in mmcs, hid headlamps - vie had it for just over a week and I am in love with it lol.
As the others have said, play the dealers off against each other and haggle for freebies like mats and free tank of fuel - good luck.

Wait until April dude.. Its not that far away.. The turbo models blow the aspire and VRX out of the water + You can probably pick up a Ralliart that already has MMCS and full leather interior - Take one for a test drive, you´ll be smiling from ear to ear..

I dont know how you can say that.
My Aspire kills your RA in every thing that i want a car. It is more ecomical, smoother and has more features and luxuries.
Different cars for different needs.
Yes the RA is quicker but that was not what i wanted.

I would think that the RA would suit dale more , looking at his age and all , though i would still suggest you looking at getting a IX that you've been wanting for a long time , don't wanna look back and regret

Lol.. How can I say what? Im talking about performance - Though if you want to talk about luxuries - No.. The Ralliart doesn't come with woodlook trims - It has carbonfiber instead, full leather interior MMCS and a rockford fosgate system. Xenon lights can be easily installed later if need be.
I know these things might not come standard in Ralliart models but the ones I see online now for just a few thousand more have the luxury package.
Not sure with what you mean about smoother - Having previously owned a Ralliart - I can say that they are a very smooth ride.
And not to come across as being mean - but I'm kind of directing my opinion at the OP.

I'd say the insurance cost would blow him away too... coming from a Daihatsu Applause will be a significant difference between Evo/RA and what he's used to.
Have you driven performance cars before (to the OP)? What attracts you to Evo's? Look or performance? Even I sometimes get a startle from driving my Evo (e.g. yesterday) and how manic it can get.
