Hi Guys,
I'm on the northern beaches in Sydney, bought a 2009 VR Lancer from the Government auctions last week and am over the moon with it. I've had a 98 Magna V6 for years so I'm still getting used to the slight step down in straight line acceleration but i'm pretty impressed with rolling acceleration and the way the car drives overall.
My grandmother bought an ES Lancer brand new about 9 months ago so I already new how well they drive. For the size of the car my only other option from the auctions was a Corolla and they only had 4sp auto, no ASC and only dual air bags whereas the Lancer has a 5 star safety rating.
Only things I have to do now are the sourcing of a spare key (car only came with one) and touch up paint to fix a few dents and deep scratches.
