Welcome to the club Alex.

Try to go to a meet and see some other Lancers, as you may get some mod ideas.

I may see you next week if you go to National meet.

If you need any help just ask or search for the answers.

thanks for the welcome :)

so what would you guys recommend as an upgrade to a stock VRX? something that would boost performance but wont break the bank

also i had a 45k service a bit back. When i got the car back i noticed that the engine had this... meatier growl to it. Sounded almost like it had a tune up or the muffler changed or something. I haven't been able to find anything different about it, still uses the same amount of petrol for the same mileage... Wonder if anyone here has heard of anything like this

It sounds like they did not put the air filter back in properly. Make sure you check. It is easy not to clip it in properly. If you do not know how to look get the dealer to drive to your place to have a look.

If it is out of place I would ask for some compensation.
