Hi to everyone. In almost 24 years this is the first time I buy a car with my money !. Been a sales rep and always had company cars.
Never wanted to touch a front wheel drive, specially those coming from a company the people jump ! (Tin with plastic coca cola recycled bottles and expensive).

So what happened to me............the Lancer VRX just captivated me and bought and I LOVE THAT CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not know what it is but they have got a bloody good product.

Would love to hear from anyone regarding the workshop manual for VRX not VR (I have it already and is only USA version with 2 litre engine.....not good).

Thanks

Hi Richard welcome to the club.

Where abouts are you from?

We all love our Lancers, they are a good reliable value for money car.

Post some pictures of your ride and if you need any help please just ask.

There is a link to a download of the disc some where. I am not sure where.

Ok guys and girls, thanks for the replies.

1) Yeah, I always do search and that is how I found the VR USA manual but no hope, yet, on the AU VRX

2) I am in Sydney and would not mind to drive to SA for Coopers Red !!

3) Colour is Lightning Blue. The 28 year old blond on the back seats (trained by Optus..................she says YES more often) is still missing !

I'll see if I can find it and upload it.

The manual isn't for a specific model, the manual is for all non-RA Lancers. As you've mentioned though, it's country specific.

Most things should be fairly similar though, just numbers will be measured differently.

[EDIT]
Found it...this is what happens when you run dual boot! :p I'll upload it when I get a chance and I'll let you know.

bah...I can't find my workshop manual...don't know where I've hidden it. Sorry...I'll keep looking and will upload it once I sort myself out.

Ok,

1) BLUE VRX Stacey, thanks !. I am in the Sutherland area. I love silver but this colour got me, I have to admit!

2)KINESIS Peter, ok, no problems. Dual boot? Move to WIN 7 and no more dramas. I am an IT guy anyway.................teach Advanced Diploma in IT at TAFE.

Cheers

haha...I actually run Mac. I only jump to Windows for the workshop manual and a few other small things (and if I ever get around to trying to play with my ECU).

So, won't be going Win7 anytime soon :p Used to be a techie, just cbf anymore. That said, Win7 looks good, but I've been with Mac for a while and transition would just be annoying.

NB: I am not a Mac nut (I have an iPhone for the same reason as above), it just works for me.
