Hi All,
I bought my first Lancer in 2001, a CE series GLi 2-door coupe (1.5L). About a week ago I signed the dotted line for a 2010 CVT VRX - red, which I should be taking delivery of this Friday. It's going to be quite an upgrade! Very much looking forward to receiving it and I will post many pictures.

Welcome to the club Christy.
Can I ask why you got a VRX and not an Aspire?
Try to get along to a Qld meet.
If you have any questions or need any help, please just ask.

Thanks for the welcome all.
Troy, I preferred the sportier look of the VRX and didn't want to have mod straight away to have to get the look I want since I'm buying brand new and won't have the $ straight away.
Kimmy, I am out towards the Ipswich side of Brissy.

Welcome to the Club Kristy, if you have the time would be great to see at the meet Saturday night or even the mini cruise on Sunday

I do want to get rid of the stock alloy wheels pretty quickly but did want to try to get some wear out of the tyres first, heh. I also want some interior leds/fluoros. This forum is a wealth of knowledge, I love it.
The meet looks like fun, I will post in that thread if I have that weekend free.

Thank you! Lightning blue is not my colour, and I've noticed it's popular here. :p There seems to be many Holdens with the same around my area too. My old GLi is a dark navy blue.
