Hello People!

I never ever thought I ever would take a Mitsu car, or even a lancer. Never used even to look at that side. Always skipped Mitsu as an option at all.

Used to drive: H. Santa FE, Suzuki Grand Vitara Prestige, Corolla Ultima. all cars were top of the range.

Nevertheless I got my ES Lancer sedan in white, a second hand car, but 17K on odometer, still smells new car, a nice example, just for $18200 drive away ('08 build, CVT).

Reason to buy: drives as a proper car, looks good, balance of 3 years warranty and finally and again... drives well. Mine is an auto, makes 'mooo' sound but still is a nice drive; even-though it has a 'tram' style of driving - manual shifting does help if required.

Lancer appeared to be a nice choice, still current model and it looks like it is going to be up to date for some while as new ASX has the same shape.

Lancer has character, Lancer does write its own history when others try to follow. Lancer has charisma. All this forum is a witness and proof for this.

Lancer is a good toy with a number of possible mods. A chance to make your uniquely looking masterpiece. A distinct reliable solid car, a pleasure to approach and a pleasure to drive.

What I dislike: no climate, ugly to touch hard plastic of the steering wheel and knob. No special place for sunglasses. :)

P.S. Thanks for nice forum. Very helpful and encouraging.

Thats an odd list of cars... Its good that you get around though :) and good that you enjoy the car.
You get climate control on higher models. And a leather steering wheel.

Oh and welcome :)

G'day mate. Welcome.

Seems different from the other cars you have had :) But change is always good :)

Perhaps we'll see you soon at one of our meets?

Enjoy your stay.

Welcome to the club Nick.

Good choice of car. Best value for money on the market, IMHO.
