Hey all!
My wife and I picked up a VR Lancer today - stoked so far. Also glad to have found these forums - looks like a wealth of knowledge here.
The bikes we sold to get the car:
It doesn't go quite as well as the bikes but it's a hell of a lot safer...

Sure hope so :p Modding cars seems a bit of a different ballgame to modding bikes, though - still looking into where to start...

hehe if you want to go as fast as the bikes... yeah nah.
If you got money to burn, get yourself a lower stance and some nice rims, cant go wrong with that. Follow that up with new intake/zorst and stage 1 ECU tune.
Are you man or auto (please be man) because you will have more options with man.

It has impressed us quite a bit so far - we drove a Mazda3 and a Cruze (gutless wonder, the latter) and liked the Lancer the most by a long shot.
Beats the old CE Lancer I used to own and the current Camry we're selling, that's for sure.

Welcome to the club Jim.
Sounds like it would have been difficult to sell the bikes, but you have a great car now.

Yeah, selling the bikes was hard - they're awesome, cheap fun... So much fun. My wrist basically exploded though and no longer works properly which sadly rules out riding any longer. A shiny car is some compensation :p
