hi all,

i just bought a 2nd hand VR red lancer 08. It's still basically the stock model. I'll most likely be doing mostly cosmetic on the car and not too much of any modifications to it.

Currently thinking of getting a new set of wheels to go with it. Now looking at Tenzo-R Cuzco black with/without red trimmings. Anyone with a good deal with this rims do let me know!

Does anyone have any idea where can i get vinyl for the front blackout and where can i get the chrome strips in WA?

Cheers and have a nice day

jenn :D

Hi again.
I'll just point out we have a WA cruise coming up in a few weeks, you may have seen it already in the WA section of the forum.

Did you get a manual or CVT? And sedan or sportback? :D
Best of luck with the car. :)

Hey Jennwei and welcome to the club. The blackout vinyl for the front you are best getting from a sign writer, the total cost including fitting should be between $30 - $70. The chrome molding that most of use have been using is 10mm in size and is available from medium to large supercheap auto stores ranging from $20 - $40 (you will end up with enough to do the job twice).
So for around $100 you have a very effective visual mod.

Enjoy the club mate.

hey Jenn, welcome to the club!

I hope you can make the cruise to meet some of the other WA members and have some fun :)

Vinyl blackout can be purchased from sign-a-rama for about $10 a meter
Chrome moulding can be purchased from supercheap auto/malz for $10-$40 usually.

Welcome. You say you are not going to do that much to it now, you wait. Once you get bitten and see what others do, its all over. Good luck holding back

welcome jennwei.... u should look up our sponsor taleb tyres for the tenzo cuzcos.... last time when i enquired it cost 1900 with pirelli pzero nero tyres and delivered to perth.... but i decided to change my mind.... and am gonna go for konig rims instead.....

Why the change of mind @lancervr? Is tenzo-r not a good set of rims?

um no its not that dont get me wrong they are good rims... wanted konigs cuz preferred their design as compared to tenzo project 7s..... was after tenzo type m at first but they are an old design and almost impossible to find.... these are the konigs i m after........
