Hi guys and gals, I thought I would introduce myself, My Name is Todd and I have recently been luckily enough to purchase a 2010 Black VRX Lancer. I really wanted the Ralliart, but my funds wouldnt extend that far.

Since the current shape evo / lancer was released i always wanted one, and now I have achieved this. When ordering i was luckily enough to be on of the first from the dealership to recieve the 2010 model ,The bonus to this one is that I get the Premium sound for nothing, not a bad Rockford Fosgate system for a OEM Version

So far I have done nothing to it except put 7500km's on it.... hahahah. Love that car. lol

I have purchased the car for my wife to drive around so there will be nothing major as far as engine work to be done but the outside is a different story

My plan so far is to make this my own. I want to put a OEM Evo Bonnet, rear skirt defuser , and twin exhaust on it. My only concern is will the OEM Evo Bonnet fit easily. Ive never been up close to them so I wouldnt know.

I plan on changing the rims over shortly and am leaning towards Black on Black. A nice Black centre with Chrome lip.

Anyway Enough about me, Heres my ride.
Chow.

Welcome to the club !

You have a very nice car ! ^^

I don't think the evo bonnet fits it but I'm quite sure the ralliart bonnet will. They are very expensive though.

As for the rear skirt with dual exhaust and the rear diffuser, there are a few options available. Be sure to check out the club sponsors here.

I'm sure you will find this forum very interesting and find the friendly community to be very helpful as I have.

Welcome to the club Tod.

There is plenty on ccj to help with your mods.

The Evo bonnet does not fit the Lancers. It will bolt on but will have large gaps along the guards.

Use the search at the top right of screen this will help with all your questions.

Nice car, enjoy the ride..

Don't know where you got that from... :?

The Evo bonnet DOES fit, flush and aligned. Same for the RA bonnet (they are the same bonnet)

On the contrary, the regular Lancer bonnet won't fit on an Evo or RA, as the Evo bonnet's subframe is moulded to allow the intercooler piping go over the top of the radiator, the regular bonnet is not.

Welcome to ClubCJ.

FYI The only difference in mounting of the alloy evo/RA bonnet and the steel NA bonnet is the EVO uses bolts, where the NA has studs in the bonnet and utilises nuts instead.

10 minute job and you are done :D
