Hey guys, a friend told me about this forum. Not sure if he's a member or not but I think he might be related to/friends with Ofey. I'm originally from Melbourne, and moved up to the Gold Coast 5 years ago for Uni, and permanently about a year ago.
I got a Lancer Ralliart Sportback in silver about 2 months back, and I'm happy to report that it just got smashed by a truck on a round-a-bout not 2 hours ago.

OMG!!!
Welcome, but ouch. You're happy to report that? I'd be devastated!! Hope insurance sorts you out ok...
We'd love to see you on a cruise in the future, we hold them quite frequently. And Lethal_1 won't be happy that he is not the only Silver Ralliart now! At least his is a sedan so I'm sure he'll be fine!!
Welcome and enjoy the site!

Ahaha yeah I was in shock for awhile I wanted to be angry at the Truck Driver but I was to busy sitting on the grass looking at the car. Worst thing is I just got it back from service center a couple hours before hand.
Insurance company made me draw up all kinds of diagrams before they rang up the other driver, so hopefully that means they're going to claim fully from them and wont jack my premiums up..
As for the cruise, I'll for sure join.. once I get my car back
edit: thanx bsyde

Luckily it was low speed, probably 40-50ks, Surprisingly I didn't even feel the impact. One second I was going straight, then I was facing the other way with glass all over the cabin at a complete stop.

Wow. you're lucky the side airbags didn't go off... they would write it off almost instantly then!
Hope it is all fixed ASAP!

Welcome to Club CJ...........
Quick question.....Since your car is damaged on the right hand side when you were on a round a bout, I guess that means you were in the wrong?(give way to the right) I had my car backed into by a QRX Freight truck a few months ago, so I know what its like to be without it for a few weeks.

Nah I was in the left lane of a two lane roundabout (turn left, go straight, or go round), and the small delivery truck was in the right inner lane (right turn only), and he decided for some reason that turning left in a right turn only lane was perfectly acceptable. Because of the shape of the roundabout, he ended up driving straight into the side of my car, since he just went for the exit, while I followed the road.
edit: this is why the insurance company made me draw diagrams
