hi all, name is kym,
based in brisbane
v-v-happy to say i own a black es sedan from october this year it was last one in the lot and I WAS NOT LEAVING WITHOUT IT - so too bad to the chick who wanted to test drive!

couldn't be happier - first brand spanker - after driving my mates evo8 i fell in love (although with a very different price bracket in mind...!)

not so new to the whole car experience, but am genuinely interested in learning the ins-and-outs of the lancers :)

needs a wash but will get the photos up once i have the new plates, want to keep it low key for mods but am keen to make it bit more me, first expense will be the spoiler... yup, stock standard atm...*shudder* :P

@ Superintendent Chalmers & tadz0rz - thanks :)

@ scraverX - i know i should have waited ... convinced my brother to get a lancer and the bugger got the RX ed... but oh well, will work on it slowly :)

@ Mattigins - it is very schmick! only issue i have is the mysterious scratch on the drivers side near where the skirt would be :/ trying not to get to precious over it ... not easy tho ... haha.

thanks :D

I live up at carseldine but work over south side - enjoying the drive everyday (just not the noob drivers that brissie have to offer... country girl at heart...haha).

have been checking out the many threads on this site, am pricing around for side skirts, rear spoiler and in real need of seat covers... eventually i'll get wheels but the forums have helped out heaps!

i hear up at caboolture you can get some neat covers - much cheaper than going thru the dealership... but getting the time to go up there is next to impossible to check out quality :/ any suggestions would be appreciated!

no i don't believe i did... no 'altered' area on the sides as i've noticed... fairly standard :/

Do the front seats have an 'airbag' tag on the respective door-side bolster? If you optioned the airbags this will be a giveaway. It limits your choice of seat covers.

nope, no tags .... but am really tired of looking around, have to stop waiting for something to leap out at me to make a decision.... all i know is, i want black, yellow/red interior. no point getting any other colours it just would look the way i want it. so i've limited myself fairly well again huh... lol
