I swapped out my OEM high and low beams for 4000k after market globes; I got Narva Arctic Blue's - ADR compliant and easily available in my area - but there are other choices. (I work nights so I do a fair bit of night time driving.)

I also just put in a K&N Panel filter.

Take a poke around other Members Garage entries. :)

Edit: As yours is Blue (going by your avvy) vynal blackout of the centre part of the bumper is also a popular first mod.

Welcome!

I've seen a few IS200's around, not many are cosmetically modified though but they seem to have big exhausts lol

Plenty of awesome mods to find here though for the CJ, lots of mods that won't break the bank either :P

Check out the WA forum section, theres a cruise on Sunday which you can come down to if you want :)

Hey,

ScraverX, did you install a HID kit or just change the bubs? I heard installing a aftermarket HID kit voids your warranty, not sure if thats true or? :?

Im planning on putting the chrome lining around the 'nose' tommorow, as for the vinyl, is there anyway I can stick it over without having to open anything up? Always afraid to open stuff up..just incase i cant put it back in!

Mizta B, I currently have interior neons (b4 they all came apart) changed the rims to some basic aftermarket ones (anything better then the hubcaps!) with a few more things planned later on :D

Graham, haha yeh the is200 got big mufflers, but really silent cars, I had to tinker with it a fair bit to make it purr a lil bit :D I would join you guys for the meetup, but sadly work on Sundays, maybe next time

Ahh no worries,

I've put two different HID kits in my car so if you need a hand with that let me know. It WILL void your warranty, but only for your headlights as far as I'm aware. Atleast that's what the dealer told me when I asked about angel eyes.

The other bad thing about the HID kits on our standard headlights is they are defectable, I've had no hassle with it, nor has anyone else I know with HID's

I changed my bulbs. Narva Arctic Blue's (adr so no defect), they're just one of a number of choices. :)

Welcome to the club!!

HIDs will void your warranty. Then there is also the legality of it as Graham mentioned. Then there is also the safety issues regarding HIDs in standard headlights... But I won't go into that in this thread. It has been argued many times already on this forum.

HB3 and HB4 are the bulbs for our cars. They aren't 'general' stock like the ford and holden bulbs. I got mine at repco with very little hassle, they just had to bring them from another store.

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProduct ... mentGuide/

this URL will tell you the exact globes you need for pretty much every light in the car, just give them the globe models there, any decent auto store should stock them

If all else fails, www.brightlightautoparts.com or eBay :P
