I live in brisbane australia and was wondering is it legal to tint my taillights. I have leds in my taillights so they are brighter.

last i remember in Adelaide the lights have to be visible up to 200metres away and our laws aint the the toughest in the country.
but i think if they are ADR approved then you shouldn't have any issues.

your best option just have a look at laws applicable in your state, or you could ask a cop im sure they will be able to give you a better answer according to the current laws of your state.

In qld you can not have tinted tail lights.
Check it out with qld transport.

I have never understood why you want to do this as it makes it more difficult for others who are following you to see your lights and greater chance of accidents.

No you can’t

I lightly tinted mine 3 years, not been pulled over once in all that time, and it included an interstate trip from QLD and trough NSW/VIC/SA.

But mine are VERY lightly tint, seriously unless parked next to another CJ you would no know.

From bne and have tinted. Nill issue.
