Hi All,
Both me and my partner have Lancers however hers (2009) has recently come up with the ABS problem a few other members here have had (DTC C2116 pump motor voltage low). Mitsubishi quoted $2500 to replace it.....

After following the Mitsubishi process they have declined to assist with the reason being "too far out of warranty". It was less than 12 months out of warranty, has done around 26,000kms and has been serviced almost entirely (all except for the last one or two) by my local Mitsubishi dealer.

According to their customer relations team, they consider: age of the vehicle, kilometres travelled, how far out of warranty the vehicle is, nature of the concern, service history, customers loyalty to our network, customers loyalty to our brand...If those are the considerations, I don't understand why Mitsubishi won't stand behind their product.

Sorry for the long post. Any feedback or other suggestions would be great!

Thanks,

Gary

Welcome Gary, if you have part numbers i can get you a quote on the parts

i am sure it will be cheaper than $2500.00

if its out of warranty its pretty much bad luck, but try fair trading.
