New member from SA in the market for an RA

Hey guys,

I'm Ben from Adelaide and I'm just doing some research to figure out if an RA is the car for me. It's time for me to grow up and buy something with 4 doors and some airbags.

Currently I drive an S15 Silvia and previously had a turbo starlet, pulsar and a shitbox R31. I'm looking forward to owning something made in this decade and doesn't require a chiropractor after driving to work.

Any recommendations for workshops in Adelaide that know their RA's and could do a pre-buy inspection? And is there any solid info about when Mitsubishi made changes to the SST? I read sometime in 2010/2011 but no solid dates, I don't know if I'll be able to stretch my budget to an MY11.

My plans would be to up power to 190+kW atw along with suspension work but nothing too crazy. I'm not trying to turn an RA into an Evo but would I get bored with it after a 200kw Silvia?

And would servicing it myself kill the resale?
