Hi all just introducing myself and my baby
She is a red 2015 Es sport manual owned her about 2 weeks
All I can say is wow in regards to the performance and handling of this car as well as being more economical on fuel compared to my last car 2.0 turbo diesel cruze?
Its a learning curve as the lancer is very different to the race cars I used to drive and i haven't been treating her so well. bit jumpy and grinded 3rd twice today which is unusual for me. These cars can take a beating right? Anyways just want to say hi all and look forward to being apart of your community here[/img]

Welcome! Hope you enjoy your new toy.

I drive mine pretty hard, and she seems to take it on the chin. haven't had any problems :)

Thanks guys. do all you guys notice how touchy the accelerator is in the manuals . For example taking off. I tend to not give enough acceleration about 50% of the time and the other 50% I push just that tiny bit harder and she over revs

Might just need some getting used to... i don't have that problem. Mind you most of the time, if i don't have passengers, when i take off i have it flat to the floor :P

Yeah the cruze got around 600 from a tank. The Es has got about 800 still running it on the fuel from the dealership :). I also have a thing in first. on start-up or if it's been sitting about 10 mins. Putting it in first once I start moving it makes like a crunching noise and i can feel it right through the pedal. Any one else get this or do I get the dealership to look at it?

I find first can be a bit cluncky some times, but generally a couple of pumps of the clutch and it goes in fine. I've got in the habit of double pumping each time i go into first, and don't have issues with it.

Yeah I've heard a few people say that themselves. It's like a noise as if you're rubbing 2 stones together. I might try that and see how i go. If not I may get it looked at. I made the investment and purchased the extended factory warranty also
