Wasssup guys?
Just got the ABS SERVICE REQUIRED ASC OFF error on my dash.
From my searching, this could be anything not just ABS pump. So.. Im need to take it in.
Dumb Q, do I need to go to a Mitsubishi garage or can I take it to my regular service/maintenance guy?
Tx in advance!

About 5 hrs ago it appeared for first time, stayed on for next 15 mins (til I got home) . 30 mins later I checked again it was still there. :(
I realised it happened right after I went down a ramp with a very deep hump at the start.
I really hope that it's just a small fault. Otherwise I'll be cursing that ramp everyday I drive past it.

So.. I dunno what changed but when I jumped into the car this morning the error was still there, drove about 2 mins and the message disappeared.
Hasn't been back since. Weird!
I'm still gonna take it in just in case, don't want to be stuck in the middle of no where. Will update if Mitsubishi finds something wrong.
Tx again.

probably water in the wheel speed sensor. this is the most common issue that then is known to disappear over time on its own.
dealer cant do anything unless there is an active fault or can be replicated.
ABS\ASC is a separate ECU and your vehicle can still driven normally.
you just wont have ABS and ASC. and a annoying reminder on the dash.

So, I haven't taken it in to get checked yet coz...
I read somewhere about pulling the battery and letting it "reset". I did that, it worked. The warning disappeared for 2 days then returned after we got heavy rain. The battery trick worked another 3 or 4 times.
Also, thinking back abt 8 hrs before it happened the first time I went through a deep puddle of water. Regret that now!
