Hi all. I have enjoyed your site for a while, thought I would join and say g'day. I am in Toowoomba QLD and have a boggy gold CJ ES CVT.
Small additions, due to the good oil from sites like this one and the mitsuclubaustralia forum, include; blacked-out bumper centre, wheel arch molding around the 'mouth', K&N, Bolle tint, factory 16"s.
Have some X-Factor bodykit parts on way and would like to lower it and add decent axle-back exhaust, in the near future. Also like X-Factor leather interiors. Anyone done this? Easy?
Think that this car is one of the best lookers on the road, irrespective of trim level/model of CJ... they're all choice!
Remember to wave to us ES-drivin 'entry-level' povvies on the road !
Regards
Tryg

Thanks for the welcome.. had to take a shot in the garage, for the two new mods done today (wet and rainy up here in Toowoomba today). Added the blackout vinyl and the molding.
Cheers.

Welcome to the club!
Hope to see you at a meet one day, although it would be a fair hike to Brisbane from Tbar!
Lancer looks great too! I see fog lights too if I'm not mistaken

Ozie,
thanks for the welcome. Your write-ups and ideas are compelling and I must admit that I will be stealing a few of your ideas! I think the addition of colour around the fogs, like your white surrounds, is an excellent low-cost mod. Looks the business.
Here is pic from today, raining here in Twba though...
Sir-VRX, like your car too, seen you active now on both sites, great work! Love to travel to Brisbane for meets, just wont be able to make the next proposed run to Mt Tamborine. Do a lot of bike rides around there and would recommend the Eagle Heights pub, fantastic view and loads of Lancer-ready off road parking!!!
Thanks for all your ideas!

Lucky to have sourced some super-low rear springs and low fronts during the week. Also, have the front air dams from Shadows this week... side skirts on the way also from Singapore. And in the ultimate coup d'etat Hasu12 just sold me his 18" Ralliart/VRX style wheels !!
So, now I am just needing the full black leather interior, some tweets and a very nice GReddy Ti-C or equivalent system in the back!
Cheers for the wheels Hasu, great deal. +1 for you.

Everyday is a Lancer project day!
Super lows and lows here next Friday, they should be on next weekend along with the front air dams and (hopefully, if they arrive) the side skirts from Shadows.
She has come a fair way along in 3 weeks.... fog lamps, K&N, front vinyl blackout piece, chrome trim, bonnet and h/light protectors, tint.
Still to go, lowering, steering wheel controls, tweeters, body kit, better exhaust and fundage permitting, full black leather interior...
Before
After (thus far.....!)
See you all next week with another installment!

Well, am hoping to get the same look as you all enjoy, especially with the air dams and skirts... very appealing.
Any ideas on how to remove the little lip on the boot?????
Thinking an EVO rear spoiler from Shadows may look the business, or maybe too much!?!?!?

Hmm, not sure about removing the lip... It leaves holes from memory.
Just do what others do.. go the VRX spoiler as well as the lip
