Welcome aboard!
Curious to ask: Did you have the CVT or manual version of the V35?
If you did have the CVT, how does it compare to the dual SST now?

The V35 is a great car (sat in, never drove it, but I have driven a 350z) It has about the same acceleration and speed, and is very agile around corners for a mid size car. The look is a bit outdated as the new V36 looks almost the same.
What was the reason for changing to an RA?
That means the Blues outnumber the Blacks in the RA's now!

I adore the Dual SST.
In my test drive of the RA, I was blown away by what it could do but I still think CVTs are greatly under-rated.

The 4-door V35 Skyline is fitted with the world's first CVT that was commercialized to provide drive power and ratio changes by combining disk and power rollers (double cavity type). This transmission was first used in the Cedric and Gloria 1999 models.
Leonardo DaVinci sketched the first CVT in 1490. Dutch automaker DAF first started using CVTs in their cars in the late 1950s, but technology limitations made CVTs unsuitable for engines with more than around 100 horsepower. In the late 80s and early 90s, Subaru offered a CVT in their Justy mini-car, while Honda used one in the high-mileage Honda Civic HX of the late 90s

u just didnt want me to leave u behind aye or u'd be burning right now like burnyGtunabeefchicken wrote:Thanks for all the welcomes guys. hahaha bye2u beat it. I bought a RA cause it would end up costing me less (novated lease). The SST is farrrrrrr superior then the CVT . The V was a nice car but yes, it is dated.
