Hi there,

New member - just got my hands on a 2009 MY10 Ralliart :)

Loving it but already wanting to mod it up.

I'm brand new when it comes to modding so just wanted to get some advice re: Sydney region

So i'm planning on getting the following done:

-Turbo Back Exhaust
-K&N Air Filter
-ECU Tune
-New OEM HID w/ DRL Lights

Can anyone recommend where to get these installed in Sydney (Im from the East but happy to drive wherever has the best pricing)? As well as maybe a rough price guide?

Have sourced vendors from various places around the net but have no clue who/where to go to for installation

Any help appreciated! 8)

Haha no worries.

I got dual halo headlights from Mars Performance. DRLs aren't like OEM that you find on a lexus or honda etc though. I love them except there is a layer of film peeling off at the moment.
You can also get single halo headlights and different DRL positioning if that makes sense lol

If you wanted to, you could install them yourself. They are projectors im pretty sure BUT remember that you don't have auto levelling and washers so not 100% legal. Having them aimed properly should keep you out of trouble though

Yes ive been curious how the MARS etc work - so are they only on when your lights are on? Or you can have JUST the DRL on during the day similar to the AUDI etc?

I did like the dual halo MARS lights (they seem to be sold out regularly)- but ive found a one up even better than them (Pricey though!)

I had a look online re: Self installation and thats way past my comfort zone haha (plus nowhere to actually do it) - so anywhere you can recommend would install them on the cheap?

I payed mitsi $150 to swap over my headlights for custom evoxenon projectors, because I wanted them installed straight away, it's pretty easy to do though, the front bar comes off pretty easy, these cars are just like Lego :)

So you guys are talking about Mitsubishi service centres doing the trade over for you? Rather than an aftermarket custom place?

I only recently got my headlights, and I rang them up and they told me it would be around the $580 mark

halos and DRLs = parkers
Halos, drls, low beam = low beam
You could probably get them wired up differently.

You could ask some of us to help?
Otherwise not sure sorry. Ive had too many bad experiences with a certain company. Try looking up custom companys eg Queen street customs etc

With your halos do you drive around mostly with the DRL/halos on during the day?

I usually keep them on when it is cloudy or a bit dark. They are still noticeable during daylight though
