Hey Guys
Would anybody know, I had taken my face plate for standard stereo off my 2010 VRX Lancer to suss out what type of aftermarket one I can get, while I was handling everything very carefully, I had put the fascia plate back on, know my buttons wont work on the face plate, all my buttons on the steering wheel still control the stereo but I seem to cant get a light or any other functions on the actual stereo to work.
Is the face plate a one use plate, or am I missing a connection when I hooked it back up? It is a strange set up, you take the face off but actual unit stays in the dash.
I have taken to Mitsubishi but the cant find a problem.

Check the ribbon cable, sounds like it might have come off or loose when you've pulled it out. Thats the only thing I can think that would cause this problem.

yeah, pull it off again and make sure all connections are on properly.

Will pull apart again and see, was abit concerned about the ribbion, was really the only connection I could find under the face plate.

it was that little tiny ribbon, what a mission to get that back in,

Yeah... managed to pop mine out when I removed the head unit... leaving it for 'Ron'...
