ClubCJ - The CJ Lancer Club

Hi everyone,
My name is Aaron and I'm from Darwin, NT.
I currently own a Blue CJ Platinum 12 and I don't have any plans for future mods.
The only current mods to the car when I got it was a touch screen multimedia display unit along with a Amp & Sub.
The only reason I won't be doing any further mods to it is because it's a temporary car until I can find and afford an Evo X

I'm looking for a second hand Evo X at the moment. I plan on having the vehicle for a long while which is why I want to make sure it has:
-leather interior
-electric folding mirrors
-reverse camera n' sensors
-projector headlights
-manual gearbox (can't stand automatic cars)
-Colour Red or Black
I was hoping to get one at least MY12, under 50,000km on the meter and was looking about spending between 40-45k (I could push more if I really needed to but would rather not if I can). I have however noticed that on a lot of the models on sale, it's hard to find models with projector headlights. I'm trying to find one standard with the car to avoid issues with the cops or does anyone else know if you can just buy the OEM part and if there would be any complications with installing it?

I'll be buying it down south as there is none in Darwin selling. It would make it easier to get mods done for the car while it's there, so I would like to ask if there's any issues or mods with the car I should get looked at before shipping it up? (getting anything done in Darwin is expensive)

There was one sexy gsr with a full varis kit up for sale not to long ago in nt
For 42k, 2009 with 52xxx km, 270awkw etc etc, if I had the funds I probably would have bought it
Just sold a few weeks ago, it was immaculate


As for the projectors should be able to get oem to plug in play but it will be many $$$

Yeah It did look good and I have seen it. It's been on the track though and from what I've heard from various people a fair bit.
Also didn't want white (updated that in the description now), and interior wasn't leather. It's definitely a beast though

+1 for phantom black, that is what I ended up with can be a PITA to keep clean though, the interior in the MR is half leather half material (whereas the gsr is full material maybe?), never came in full leather from what I know

Talk about aiming high - nice one!

If you find a car you like, but no leather, you can pick up a full-leather interior for $1000 or less and pop it in yourself fairly easily.
