Hi, I'm Steve!
Just bought myself a MY14.5 GSR a month ago and will be driving it from Sydney to Perth in July. Really enjoying the car and feel I've made a great decision!

Little about me, I'm 27 and work in Nuc Med, moving to WA with work. My one question is how much can I modify without voiding my warranty?
I've been riding bikes for years and the customisation bug is telling me to do naughty things that I can't afford right now.

:) :welcome:  :P

My Mitsubishi Dealer told me that wheels, any exterior mod is ok, exhaust is ok as long as it's after the cat, intake and filters are ok (as long as it's a panel filter and the intake is the 'stock' RA one - PM Megatron for a good deal on these).

Keep away from any mechanical mods and you should be ok; have a chat with the Service guys at the dealer you bought your car from.

It's a long trip, drive carefully, carry water and a UHF CB, stick to main roads (or call TNT and get it freighted over)

:-)

Welcome to the club!
The mod bug bites hard here. Once you start its hard to stop :)
Try to get out to a Sydney meet before you head off to Perth. And if you happen to stop by Adelaide on your way through let us SA guys know :)
Enjoy

Welcome to the forum mate.

You can modify stuff like exterior, and things like that.

But anything performance wise or anything that changes it from its original performance may void warranty. Headlights is fine, Bonnet is fine etc. But tuning or doing your own oil refills will void warranty.
